Seven of One was a British comedy series that aired on BBC2 in 1973. Starring Ronnie Barker, Seven of One was a series of seven separate comedies that would serve as possible pilots for sitcoms. Originally it was to be called Six of One, which Barker planned to follow up with another series called And Half a Dozen of the Other. This was a BBC equivalent of a similar showcase for London Weekend Television called Six Dates with Barker created in 1971.

In addition to Barker, Seven of One also featured Roy Castle, Bill Maynard, Talfryn Thomas, Prunella Scales, Glynn Edwards, Joan Sims, Keith Chegwin, Leslie Dwyer, Robin Parkinson, Sam Kelly, Christopher Biggins, Richard O'Callaghan, Yootha Joyce, David Jason, and Avis Bunnage in supporting roles. The series was released on BBC DVD in 2005.

Ronnie Barker's favourite of the seven pilots was I'll Fly You for a Quid, which he initially chose to do as a series, before being convinced by the BBC that it would be harder to do a full series of scripts about Evan Owen in a Welsh gambling community compared to Norman Stanley Fletcher in the prison setting of Prisoner and Escort.

See Understanding Techniques for WCAG Success Criteria for important information about the usage of these informative techniques and how they relate to the normative WCAG 2.0 success criteria. The Applicability section explains the scope of the technique, and the presence of techniques for a specific technology does not imply that the technology can be used in all situations to create content that meets WCAG 2.0.

The objective of this technique is to make sure that users can read text that is presented over a background. This technique goes beyond the 4.5:1 contrast technique to provide a higher level of contrast to make it easier for people with low vision to read.

If the background is a solid color (or all black or all white) then the contrast ratio of the text can be maintained by making sure that each of the text letters have a 7:1 contrast ratio with the background.

If the background or the letters vary in relative luminance (or are patterned), then the background around the letters can be chosen or shaded so that the letters maintain a 7:1 contrast ratio with the background behind them even if they do not have that contrast ratio with the entire background.

Text is placed over a picture of the college campus. Since a wide variety of colors and darknesses appear in the picture the area behind the text is fogged white so that the picture is very faint and the maximum darkness is still light enough to maintain a 7:1 contrast ratio with the black text written over the picture.

If this is a sufficient technique for a success criterion, failing this test procedure does not necessarily mean that the success criterion has not been satisfied in some other way, only that this technique has not been successfully implemented and can not be used to claim conformance.

Judge not, that ye be not judged. ] This is not to be understood of any sort of judgment; not of judgment in the civil courts of judicature, by proper magistrates, which ought to be made and pass, according to the nature of the case; nor of judgment in the churches of Christ, where offenders are to be called to an account, examined, tried, and dealt with according to the rules of the Gospel; nor of every private judgment, which one man may make upon another, without any detriment to him; but of rash judgment, interpreting men's words and deeds to the worst sense, and censuring them in a very severe manner; even passing sentence on them, with respect to their eternal state and condition. Good is the advice given by the famous Hillell F21, who lived a little before Christ's time;

Since then, the notion of crimes against humanity has evolved under international customary law and through the jurisdictions of international courts such as the International Criminal Court, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. Many States have also criminalized crimes against humanity in their domestic law; others have yet to do so.

Crimes against humanity have not yet been codified in a dedicated treaty of international law, unlike genocide and war crimes, although there are efforts to do so. Despite this, the prohibition of crimes against humanity, similar to the prohibition of genocide, has been considered a peremptory norm of international law, from which no derogation is permitted and which is applicable to all States.

The 1998 Rome Statute establishing the International Criminal Court (Rome Statute) is the document that reflects the latest consensus among the international community on this matter. It is also the treaty that offers the most extensive list of specific acts that may constitute the crime.

According to Article 7 (1) of the Rome Statute, crimes against humanity do not need to be linked to an armed conflict and can also occur in peacetime, similar to the crime of genocide. That same Article provides a definition of the crime that contains the following main elements:

The contextual element determines that crimes against humanity involve either large-scale violence in relation to the number of victims or its extension over a broad geographic area (widespread), or a methodical type of violence (systematic). This excludes random, accidental or isolated acts of violence. In addition, Article 7(2)(a) of the Rome Statute determines that crimes against humanity must be committed in furtherance of a State or organizational policy to commit an attack. The plan or policy does not need to be explicitly stipulated or formally adopted and can, therefore, be inferred from the totality of the circumstances.

In contrast with genocide, crimes against humanity do not need to target a specific group. Instead, the victim of the attack can be any civilian population, regardless of its affiliation or identity. Another important distinction is that in the case of crimes against humanity, it is not necessary to prove that there is an overall specific intent. It suffices for there to be a simple intent to commit any of the acts listed, with the exception of the act of persecution, which requires additional discriminatory intent. The perpetrator must also act with knowledge of the attack against the civilian population and that his/her action is part of that attack.

A 7/1 ARM is a mortgage that has a fixed interest rate in the beginning, then switches to an adjustable or variable one. The 7 in 7/1 indicates the initial fixed period of seven years. After that, the interest rate adjusts once yearly based on the index stated in the loan agreement, plus a margin set by the lender. The 7/6 ARM is another common mortgage, which adjusts every six months after the initial period.

An index is a published value that is frequently updated to reflect the current rate. For years, these ARM loans have been tied to the yield on 1-year Treasury bills, the 11th District cost of funds index (COFI) or the London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR). As of this year, LIBOR has been discontinued and replaced by a new index called the Secured Overnight Financing Rate (SOFR).

The mortgage rate is determined by the rate of the index plus a stated margin. For example, in May 2022, SOFR reached 0.80 percent. A typical spread on SOFR ARMs is 2.75 percent. In this case, the loan rate would be the sum of the two, or 3.55 percent.

The 5/1 ARM has the same features of the 7/1, but the initial rate adjusts after the first five years. Generally, the interest rate on the 7/1 will be a little higher than the 5/1, reflecting the added time the initial rate is locked in.

Correction, Feb. 10, 2023, 3:30 pm ET: A previous version of this article incorrectly stated that the SOFR was 1.05 percent in May 2022. This article has been corrected to say that SOFR was 0.80 percent in May 2022.

Brazil were without two of their most important players for this semi-final. Thiago Silva had to sit out following a stupid booking in the previous round, for obstructing Colombia goalkeeper David Ospina as he attempted to take a kick, but the most damning exclusion was the poster-boy of Brazilian football, Neymar.

When the game began, Brazil came flying out of the traps. Wanting to please an expectant home crowd, they surged forward from kick-off and won a corner within 37 seconds. That would be as good as it got.

Between the 20th and 30th minute of the match, Germany completed just 25 passes but attempted six shots and scored from four of them. It was a devastating display of attacking football, leaving Brazilian players and fans utterly shellshocked.

Another big defeat was played out, this time only 3-0, but still enough to ensure Brazil conceded more goals across the 2014 World Cup than any other host nation in the history of the competition (14). 041b061a72
